Is therapy right for me?

I believe therapy can be beneficial for most people. If fear, worry, or uncertainty is getting in the way of you making the first step, I'm here to help. I provide a safe space to talk about your life and listen to what you really need. 

What can I expect?

Therapy is a journey we will take together to improve your life. I will ask you to fill out intake questions and explain how therapy works in our first session. Then, we will get to know each other and discuss goals for you. We will then work together on these goals to improve your life.

How long does therapy last?

Therapy is typically 50 minute sessions once a week. However, I am flexible as I want to meet your needs. As you improve, you may want to meet every other week or once a month. There is no set time-frame and I am open to whatever is best for you.

How much does it cost?

I understand that everyone has different life circumstances, so I offer a sliding scale fee. A 50 minute therapy session is $120, but I am flexible to work with you to discuss how much you can afford. We can discuss the fee during the phone consultation and see what works best for you.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance as I feel it impedes the treatment. However, many insurance companies will reimburse you for my services as an out-of-network provider. Please call your insurance company and ask if this works with your plan. I also am connected with Open Path Collective at a low fee.
